Love the sushi! Love the atmosphere. Open late…check it out. Great place to chill…
I can say that my husband and I have been fans of Kaya since they opened their doors. We love the food; the Sushi is AMAIZING and always fresh. The Yellow snowball is something out of this world! Our 3 daughters love the Hibachi dinners, and the fried rice is so yummy. We have Kaya at least every 2 weeks if not every week. When we introduce Kaya to family and friends they always seem to leave beyond satisfied. The service and attention your get is wonderful.
When we heard they closed, we almost cried…..But we are definitely looking forward for the grand re-opening!

We had a dinner party last night for our regular group of friends from our old neighborhood. My wife and I had everything planned out in advance and all prep work done. At the last minute, my wife suggested we order a platter of sushi from Kaya to go along with our meal. I called and ordered a sushi platter. When I arrived to pick it up, I almost fell out of my chair when I saw the gorgeous presentation of a variety of sushi. I took it home after thanking everyone and when my wife saw it, she was thrilled! Our guests couldn’t say enough about how great it was and needless to say, you have more fans for the Kaya fan club. Thanks to Kaya, our dinner party turned out even better than we had hoped. Thanks Kaya! PS: Try the Cumming roll. It is delicious beyond description. You will be amazed!
We’ve been eating at Kaya for months now and we love it! The food is wonderful! We just cant get enough of it. The atmosphere is perfect and the people are great! The White Tuna is amazing!

This tucked away restaurant along State Rt. 20 located in Cumming will not be our secret for long. As you enter you’re met with a well designed interior decorated as though you were visiting some swanky restaurant in Buckhead. The fresh seafood that is deliciously prepared at the sushi bar is waiting for us to pull up a seat and indulge our selves in what we may not know about sushi. My daughter and her friend, to their delight, found other varieties that were very tasty other than just the California rolls. Once finished we had to pry the girls away from the sushi bar in order to be seated at the grill. The grill master continued to dazzle us with his culinary expertise and showmanship, we even got the volcano. I think he did that one for the girls….but I was impressed. But once I was eating all the freshly grilled meat, vegetables and rice is when I was truly impressed. It was flavored so well that it melted in my mouth. I ate everything on my plate I even found myself looking at my daughter’s plate, to see if there were any morsels left behind. The price is reasonable and the service was excellent and always with a smile. This is one place you’ll see me again, just don’t leave anything on your plate.
YUMMY! Had lunch at Kaya for the first time several weeks ago. Loved it! Everything about Kaya is “Top Notch” The atmosphere, the food, the staff are all outstanding. It was my first time in but we were treated as long time friends… I will definitely recommend to friends. Kaya would be a great place to gather for Happy Hour and Sushi, large group get together, special occasions or just a quiet lunch or dinner.. I will be doing all of them! Anything Tempura is great!

Kaya is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. Jae & his staff are always welcoming, the food is excellent in quality and the meals are always fresh. Great atmosphere and great people! I would highly recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner.

This is the best sushi around, and more selection of maki than I’ve seen anywhere in the US, perhaps the world!!
I went to lunch for the first time yesterday and loved it! The atmosphere and food were outstanding. I am looking forward to spending an evening out at the restaurant. Great website too! I will be using the reservations and coupons.

We are new to the area and discovered the Kaya site on the net. It looked like our kind of place so we tried it out. Great food, reasonably priced. I would also say that the staff is enthusiastic too. Coming from LA, we have plenty of Japanese and sushi choices there so this was a great surprise. We plan on coming back often.
I love Kaya! I’ve gone there for lunch several times and it’s always great. I enjoy the environment and the friendly service. But the food tops it off! This new web site is great! Keep the coupons coming!
A group of friends came over last night to hang out. We decided to go out for dinner and ended up at Kaya. We really didn’t know what to expect although we had read some of the reviews and evrryone seemed pleased. Well, they were very busy so pretty normal for a Friday night. We were greeted as soon as we enterred and seated in just a few minutes. Very beautiful restaurant especially at night. Great ambience. Our waitress was very busy but made us feel right at home and gave us her total attention. She was fun and informative. We all got the all you can eat special. The all you can eat special enables you to try just about anything you want all custom made to order. And the price was a bargain. The sushi chefs know what they are doing. Jay the manager came by and helped us with his recommendations on things to try. And he was right! We loved all of his suggestions. We’ll be back soon for more good times and great food! First time customer. Ate at the sushi bar although the grill section looked like fun too. The sushi chefs were amazing. We tried the chef’s choice…think it was called chobob or something and it was amazingly beautiful and delicious. They have so many kinds of sushi. There is also a complete grill menu and other japanese dishes. I saw someone get steak and chicken with grilled vegetables (I think) and it looked great. Also they have a well stocked bar with plenty of saki choices as well. This is going to be a favorite on my list. Try it, the place is memorable, staff is caring and fun and the food is awesome. Kaya is now in my top ten favorite places to eat.
A group of us came in from our office for lunch the other day. We had found the website online and someone said lets try it out. With our group of ten people, we had a wide variety of food to try and explore. Everyone was thrilled with their meals. Service was fast as well so we were able to get in, eat and get back to the office with no problem. We will be back soon. Everyone in our group said they would tell their significant others and friends. Our waitress was Mursian and she was very fast and friendly. She also did a great job of explaining some of the dishes. The manager, I believe his name is Jay, came by and was quite charming. We were also greeted as soon as we walked in the door with smiling happy faces who helped make our whole visit a terrific experience. Who would believe a place this great right here in Cumming? Amazing and thank you Kaya Grill and Sushi!
Great food and great time every time we go. We have been for lunch and dinner. The lunch menu is large and filled with variety. Their sushi is fresh and delicious. We also like their steak and chicken combination from the grill. Their chefs are awesome and the wait staff is friendly and attentive. The manager always comes by and says hi to us and we also see him stop by every table. I can’t wait to go again soon!
My husband and I love to eat here. The prices are reasonable and the food is delicious. We eat here about two times a week if our schedules allow it. The atmosphere is great and the layout of the restaurant seems unique. There are separate areas for dining with tables and there are also specific areas for sitting directly by the grill in the back, at the sushi bar in another area and at more of a lounge type area also. The folks are always nice. Our waitress was Kaylee and she was fun and attentive. Cumming is lucky to have such a great sushi and japanese steakhouse right here. One of our favorite places to go and with such a big menu, we can always try something new.
Debbie and I are relatively new to sushi and are exploring it more and more. We love the sushi, other dishes, the staff and the ambience of Kaya. We have brought many friends and business associates here and everyone says they love it. One of my friends has been around the world and eaten sushi everywhere. He says this is one of the best he has ever experienced. The Manager, Jae is great and we have been waited on by Mursian who is always awesome. We also see a lot of families here and there seems to be something for everyone. Highly recommended! Also, open late:-)
